Yo Gabba Gabba! Is There a Party In YOUR City?
DJ Lance Rock is in the house and he is kickin’ it Yo Gabba Gabba style!! The hugely popular children’s program “Yo Gabba Gabba!” is about to kick off its first live U.S. tour on November 14, 2009 in Los Angeles, CA. Tickets for shows in New York went on sale on October 9, and both shows sold out immediately. Two shows on November 15, 2009 and one on November 21, 2009 have recently been added due to the outstanding demand to see Brobee, Foofa, Muno, Plex, and Toodee bring down the house.
Yo Gabba Gabba! is a fun TV program on Nickelodeon using friendly monsters to teach children life lessons. Not only do the characters appeal to children, but parents can enjoy the rock n’ roll style in which the monsters present their lessons to the little ones. Riding the heels of other lovable live shows, such as Dora the Explorer and Sesame Street Live, the Yo Gabba Gabba!: There’s a Party in My City Tour wasn’t an assured hit, says Mike Luba, President of music and family entertainment of S2BN Entertainment, the company producing and promoting the tour. Luba claims that until the sell-out of the New York venues, he was not sure how audiences would react. Apparently, with shows sold out in Los Angeles also, audiences are thrilled.
