Aint Misbehavin Tickets

You know just how good the Dallas Theater Center’s Ain’t Misbehavin’ is going to be little more than 10 minutes into it, when Liz Mikel sings “Squeeze Me.” Ms. Mikel has appeared at the Theater Center more often than most local artists. But those annual visits of the Ghost of Christmas Present hardly prepare you for the sexpot virtuosity she shows off here. Perched on a piano, she squeaks and coos her pleas to be squeezed. Then she suddenly unleashes that booming lower register of hers, gliding smoothly back and forth between the two sounds.
